We're really excited to announce that the Tidbyt team will be joining Modal.

Don't worry, the Tidbyt platform isn't going anywhere! This change simply means that we now have the resources to continue supporting the Tidbyt community.

Mats and I started Tidbyt with the goal of bringing a little joy to every desk and bookshelf. Over the years, we've shipped out 100,000 Tidbyt devices. We've loved seeing how every single one of you uses your Tidbyt, and we've been humbled by the many, many developers who've built apps on Tidbyt.

What does this mean for my Tidbyt?

Everyone's existing Tidbyt will continue to operate as usual. We'll continue pushing out updates, improving apps, and providing support through all of our usual channels.

If you're building apps on Tidbyt, expect our API and app platform to continue working as usual. We will continue to support our existing process for publishing apps as well.

We don't plan on manufacturing new Tidbyt devices for the foreseeable future, but we'll let you know if that changes!
